The conference theme, “JESUS FOR EUROPE”, focused on three aspects: “Next Generation”, “Stronger Together” and “Reaching the Unreached”. Every speaker was greatly used by the Lord in addressing these topics both in the plenary sessions and in the workshops. In a joyful atmosphere of worship, the Conference experienced a visitation from the Holy Spirit as participants responded to altar calls.
On March 8th, the PEF General Assembly, led by Chairman Pelle Hornmark, officially welcomed the following movements into the PEF family:
– Membership: The Assemblies of God of Albania, The Evangelical Pentecostal Movement in Albania, The Church of God in Bulgaria, The Greek Evangelical Charismatic Community, The Evangelical Faith Church in Georgia.
– Associate membership: The Free Evangelical Pentecostal Churches in Bulgaria
– Resource ministry: Students for Christ Europe (SFC).
Edwin Jung (Austria) was elected by the General Assembly as Treasurer for one year, replacing Siegfried Tomazsewski who was honored for his five years of faithful ministry as Treasurer.
Furthermore, the official delegates accepted the proposal to send a congratulatory message on behalf of PEF to Israel on her 70th Anniversary as a nation.
The 2019 PEF Conference will take place on March 6-8 in France. More details will follow.
