Impact Luxembourg 2012 – A Unique and Inspiring Outreach

Download Impact Luxembourg Special Report SM

We had a great Impact outreach in luxembourg from Monday to Saturday (16- 21 July).
Our theme was “HOPE that does not fail” (from Romans 5:5), which was also written on our t·shirts. Today many have lost their hope, but we wanted to remind people that
there is still a hope that doesn’t fail in Jesus.

We did have difficulties with legal authorizations. We were only allowed to give out invitations/tracts on Friday and Saturday afternoons. In spite of these challenges, our
teams were able to evangelize throughout the week in the streets, just speaking with people and inviting them to our evening evangelistic meetings.

We had almost 100 Christians from 6 different countries (including Hong Kong!), sharing the Gospel in the streets. Every morning, we started with a time of motivation
from Scriptures, prayer, worship, and practical orientation.

In the afternoons teams were sent to luxembourg city and also to the neighbor town of Esch/Aizette. On Saturday afternoon, several team members worked in Mondorf-lesBains,
where the PEC took place from Friday evening till Sunday morning.

Almost 10 000 invitations/tracts, with a strong and effective message in 4 languages, were spread out and hundreds of people heard the message of the Gospel during the
week. Our volunteers prayed for many people and their needs. About 20 people decided to give their lives to Jesus on the streets. Also, several people responded to the altar calls
for salvation during the evening meetings at the AG Portuguese church in Luxembourg and in the evening meetings in Mondorf-les-Bains.

Thousands of believers around Europe and the world prayed for this outreach in luxembourg. God’s power touched the atmosphere in luxembourg and we know that
He will continue to open many people’s hearts to the Gospel in the future. The local churches were motivated and encouraged. Also, team members were again encouraged to
evangelize in Europe and serve the Lord in their own churches.
