This year's annual Conference of the Pentecostal European Fellowship was held in the city of Lille (North of France) in the beautiful facilities of the local "ELM" Assembly of God church.
Some 120 delegates from 33 countries, representing national denominations, missions' agencies and youth ministries, came together for a three-day gathering on a theme that proved to be so timely and inspiring, namely: "Leading Healthy Movements/Ministries: vision, management, crises," starting with PEF Chairman Marek Kaminski's keynote message, and followed by Yann Antoine (France), Isaac Reis (Portugal) and Dirk Brogden (USA) covering different aspects of the same theme in the plenary sessions.
The conference was enriched by different thematic presentations by Anatoly Kosachok (Ukraine), Pelle Hörnmark (Sweden), Leonid Biruk (Belarus), Artur Krasniqi (Kosovo), Daniel Costanza (Belgium), Esko Matikainen (Finland) and Ghita Ritisan (Romania). Oystein Gjerme (Norway) led a very dynamic and instructive panel with Nick Park (Ireland), Marco Hofmann (Switzerland) and Stefan Sigfrids (Finland).
PEF Branches for Missions' leaders (PEM) and for Youth leaders (PYE) conducted their Tracks, respectively led by Timo Anzalone and J.J. Ferrell (both from Spain).
On Thursday morning, in an atmosphere of fraternal harmony, PEF General Assembly took place with all the authorized delegates representing PEF members, sharing encouraging reports and plans for the next year.
The conference was marked by a deep spirit of prayer, particularly for Ukraine, the current world situation in the Middle East and the Persecuted Church. It was such a special moment of spiritual unity as all the delegates took part in the closing Communion service, remembering Jesus' sacrifice by which we have become God's family.
Special thanks were expressed by PEF Chairman to our host, the Assemblies of God of France, to Pastor Robert Despré who coordinated the conference logistics and to the local worship team, looking forward to next year's Conference to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, Lord willing.
